    Sounds to me like it's time to brew beer, beat drums, and slaughter beasts. The ritual might or might not work but it sounds like a good time.

      This would show they are concerned with what their ancestors would naturally think...we look historically for the historically proven...this would be like the Maccabees ref:http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Maccabees
      They live in an area that has been for years plauged by Earth Quakes.
