Posted By dissent 6 months ago in NewsIsraeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu says settlements in the occupied West Bank will be allowed to expand despite US objections.
Mr Netanyahu said no new settlements would be built, but natural growth in existing settlements should be allowed.
During Mr Netanyahu's visit to the US last week, President Barack Obama told him all settlement activity must end.
The US regards the Jewish settlements -home to some 280,000 Israelis - as obstacles to the peace process.

When I heard that "natural growth" expression, my first thought was: "What about the natural growth of Palestinians? If Israeli settlements are allowed to grow on Palestinian land, then where should the natural growth of Palestinians take place? In Israel?

Personally, I for one am sick and tired of "We the People" here in THIS country endlessly SPONSORING and BANKROLLING the general oppression of the Palestinians by the Israelis. These guys have played "us" for saps and suckers WAY too long.
