actors Tom Cruise and John Travolta, Scientology enjoys no such legal
protection in France and has faced repeated accusations of being a
money-making cult.

I lost one of the most amazingly brilliant and wise people in my life to Scientology - maybe the only person whom I ever looked upon as a guru [I was young when we met!].
You can tell how bogus it is when you see the fees for advancement which rise for each further level..
The French should have a pretty good bash at them! -
