I don't recognize a single one of those monikers. One-day Propeller members directed by the cult to knock down any criticism. It just emphasizes how phony this all really is and how tightly it fits the definition of a cult. This particular one with a huge financial upside for the leaders. Beware ye citizens of Clearwater, Florida!

A shame we can't have a test as to whether something were a valid religion. That there was valid, empirical evidence of proof required for legitimizing a belief. The problem is that in an honest evaluation they would all fail. Meaning that Scientology holds the same legitimacy as Christianity and Islam (and all the myriad of others). No matter how wacky the belief nor the legitimacy of the author this tale isn't really any more incredulous than the others. That's the sad fact. It is just the fact that the adherent has bought into a different phony story than the one most grew up in.

As long as man can fantasize there will be sexual deviants and religious fanatics. There is no end to the creative mind nor the ability to get others to buy into your own beliefs. It just takes a charismatic leader, one who can "talk the talk". Charles Manson was just as much a prophet to some as L. Ron Hubbard.

It should be each individuals goal in life not to fall under the thumb of another. Once that happens you are generally f-cked! Regarding Scientology, I would simply never provide financial assistance to Mr. Cruise or Travolta by in any way funding their enterprises. Just like I wouldn't fund Mel Gibson's wackjob beliefs by attending his films. I don't think I have missed much in life by never seeing a single movie featuring these turds since I became aware of their beliefs. I doubt my life knowledge has been affected in the least.
