The fact that the 18,000 marriages already conducted before the enactment of Prop 8 were upheld leaves the opening for this to be revisited in the future.

....I guess the rumors that San Francisco Mayor Gavin Newsom asked the court to delay the announcement of the ruling - so that it wouldn't be on the 30th anniversary of the White Night Riots - were unfortunately true....
For those of us who support marriage equality, this is a setback. ....but it's far from over....-

HoMosexuals should and must have the same rights as All Americans...
Is it fair to say, the root of the issue is the Normal ethical, Moral, conduct by the principles...
It is normal practice for a man and a Women to marry and have a family...
On the other hand, who would consider it Normal for a man wanting to have a sexual encounter with another man???
The same applies for Butchers and dykes if that is the correct definition? not sure what they call themselves these days???
Is it fair to say, children may be at risk for a Normal life in these horrific conditions???
The Disgraced Ex-Governor McGreevy of NJ had a wife, childre, and a Normal mother and father, Is the disgraced Governor who wants to marry a man considered NORMAL???

Anyone who has spent much time studying human behavior. Or even animal behavior. Homosexuality is not confined to homo sapiens.
