Cat in China grows a pair of wings-w/ picture »

A kitty in Chongqing, China, is getting some extra-special attention these days: The furry feline has developed wings! Though born looking completely normal, once the cat hit the age of 1, he began growing wing-shaped appendages on either side of his spine, the U.K.'s Daily Mail reports.

        that is very strange indeed especially being a year old if it was genetic it would be noticible, just like my cat with a stumoy crooked tail that sticks straight up, the bones are deformed and feel broken, just a strange trait from his father. Maybe chemicals are the cause, pesticides etc maybe could cause this?

          It is interesting that China has a pollution problem with industrial toxic emissions and chemical dumping similar to what the US endured until limits and regulations reduced them. But during the last eight years of Bush, those safeguards were eroded.
