Poor pooch. I have been a life long cat person who just last year converted to being a dog person when I adopted my dog. I have had to put down a few cats and had a couple die at home, while it's not fun, I hate to think what that experience will be like with the dog, when the time comes.

I think it's a cruel joke of nature to have our beloved pets have such a short life span.
I don't even want to think about it when the time comes.......

I've had to put down a few of my beloved pets. It never gets easier.
