I used to be a gas grill guy but changed to charcoal. Charcoal cooking has it's challenges but the food always tastes better.

To each his own, I prefer charcoal for the flavor and the smell of the smoke while my neighbor swears by his gas grill.

Neither gas or Charcoal beats a hardwood fire. Charcoal is closer than gas though. We have been cooking on a wood fire about 3 nights a week for the past month. As long as it's not raining their isn't anything better.

Having a couple chicken breasts left over from supper right now. Sure gets everyone's attention when you pop them in the microwave at work the next day. Sure smells good

No doubt the best is charcoal. Gas grills are not anything more than gas stoves for the outdoors.
