Monkeys Pass Along Inserted Genes to Offspring »

Scientists have for the first time created genetically modified monkeys that can pass on the added genes to their offspring. The controversial work paves the way for scientists to breed large populations of primates that are born with the genetic faults responsible for incurable human conditions such as Parkinson's and motor neurone disease.
