The article says There is also laboratory evidence for the role of vitamin D in neuroprotection and reducing inflammation, and ample biological evidence to suggest an important role for vitamin D in brain development and function.

Too bad that the Medical community has been telling people for the last 50 years that it was dangerous to take Vitamin D supplements.

They used to recommend no more that 400IU daily, now they are telling people to take up to 2000IU daily and in some cases even more.
Where's their apology for pointing us in the wrong direction for 50 years?
