Flutist and composer Orlando "Maraca" Valle was a child prodigy, playing the seminal band Irakere at the age of 16 and leaving the band to pursue his own muse in his early 20's. This video reflects respect for both classical and traditional forms, finding women not only swiveling their hips, but tutued and leaping like gazelles through the streets of Havana.

The spanish speaking world (spain, latin america, a bit of africa) is full of incredibly interesting cross cultural richness.
