Posted By shalley 7 months, 1 week ago in Arts & EntertainmentI remember sitting in the living room at my parent’ s house in the spring of 1996 and watching the first episode of The Dana Carvey Show . The family friendly ABC network had this new half-hour primetime sketch show by the Saturday Night Live alum that opened, to an unsuspecting audience, with Carvey portraying then president Bill Clinton breastfeeding a baby, some puppies and a kitten. Not only were they talking about it but he was wearing a prothstetic appliance that fitted the Commander in Chief fitted with six teets. I’ m sure many were shocked, I was too busy falling off the couch laughing to notice. Ultimately the show was not big in the ratings, so after a mere seven episodes it was canned. For those who never saw it, or have missed Carvey’ s antics, you’ ll be happy with this new DVD from Shout Factory that presents the whole series, including the unaired eighth episode.
