Collective memory doesn't go back further than 6 months, but I recall the incessant chorus of "UP or DOWN!" that the neocons were shouting when their dear leader was picking his nominees.

I also remember them saying the president should be able to choose whoever he wants because he won the election and we have to sit back and accept all policy decisions and court choices, and any dissent could only be voiced in 4 years at re-election time.

I remember the "nuclear option" being threatened to end filibustering, and Bush's recess appointments. Now, it's all turned completely around, and the justification for hypocrisy is that the other side did it so now they get to. They said it was wrong before, yet now do the same. It's one of the many reasons this particular group of partisan extremists are not worth listening to, because their words are empty and tossed about solely to benefit their little groupthink interests rather than holding themselves to the same standards they required of others.

The deception is plain to see, for those who care to look. The childish antics are played out - we've seen this shtick before.
