Conservative Radio Host Says He Hopes Sotomayor Menstruation Doesn't Affect Judgment »
Posted By TimALoftis 7 months ago in Political NewsA major conservative radio host, G. Gordon Liddy, attacked President Obama's Supreme Court nominee Thursday in perhaps one of the most grotesque politically-oriented tirades in recent times.
"Let’s hope that the key conferences aren’t when she’s menstruating or something, or just before she’s going to menstruate," Liddy said. "That would really be bad. Lord knows what we would get then."
Liddy is no stranger to controversy -- in fact, he spent four years in jail for his role in the Nixon-era Watergate burglaries. His radio show is syndicated in 160 markets and on the Sirius Radio network.

It's all about generating ratings with these far right 'commentator' types like Giddy, Beck, Savage and Limbaugh. As soon as they realize Giddy is getting more exposure time then they are with the base over his stupid remark about Sotomayor, I guarantee you they will try to top it. Visualize a bunch of piglets fighting over teat time. They are no different.

No one should be surprised about Liddy saying this. He'll say or do anything for money or what he perceives as personal gain.
Reply
Just in case anyone has forgotten who we're talking about here, Liddy went to prison his role supervising the burglars during the 1972 break-in of Democratic National Committee headquarters at the Watergate. He also told People magazine that he held his hand over a flame until the skin burned black to conquer his fear of fire and that he roasted and ate a rat to get over his fear of them.

Only a lonely moral degenerate could stomach the comments that Limbaugh uses to make a living. Too bad this miserable man will die before he even knows how to enjoy life. I can only imagine how empty the lives are of those that follow his example. Thank God they are the fringes of our society.

If you read the Constitution she nor the others on the bench don't qualify.

WHAT? How do you suppose they rule without "interpreting law?" And if no precedent is set, who the heck do you suppose would do that? DUH!!!

I noticed today that many moderate conservatives were trying hard to reel in some of comments made by the extreme of the party. The overly harsh comments by Limbaugh, Gingrich, Tancredo, Beck and now Libby has really hurt the GOP's ongoing cause in this matter.

This matter isn't the only place the extremists are hurting the GOP. I'm pretty sure the Republicans in the Senate are realizing that if they are seen as riding the train wreck that is Limbaugh, Liddy etc. their ability to raise re-election funds will become very difficult in many cases. I'm sure there are companies out there who would find it a public relations nightmare to have the customers find out they backed a person that would support the kind of attacks that have been coming from Liddy and friends. The campaign contributions might very well shrink considerably. The GOP was having trouble with fund raising last election cycle I can't imagine any of this will actually help them.

--This couldn't be more blatantly contived. They set out their least vulnerable attack dogs--the right wing media, unelected and former elected officials like Steele, Gingrich and Tancredo, and the farthest right wing (and least vulnerable) Republicans in Congress--and a couple days later they say things like "we misspoke" blah blah blah...They're trying to appeal to their base AND come across as reasonable and rational. They can't have it both ways. They should be OUTRAGED at some of the filth that is coming from these people but ti's all a big joke to them. Mark my words...In Nov of next year there will be lots of Republicans crying and clearing out their offices.

you might be a con pretending to be a nut,

But for the record, the republican party is not a terrorist group,
is not broken,
and most definitely it is not the opinion of anyone sane that they be put in front of firing squads.
The awful thing about people getting what they deserve?
-is the possibility of us getting what we deserve.

Not to change the subject but an important issue is this federal bankruptsy judge that is likely to turn GM over to Fiat and sell our jobs and bail out money down the river (over seas).Where do we find these dumbbells ( trators) that we call leaders.If you know of any way to help stop this travisty, jump on it.

Why do people say 'not to change the subject' - and then change the subject?
Reply
Is that a confession of dishonesty, or mere dimness?
What is more embarrasing, is that you aren't really changing the subject.
The Republican party is in trouble now because of the kind of idiot
shriek of alarm you just made.
GM failed; it failed on its own, after years of warnings.
It sickened and died because those in charge were separated from the
failure of their product. They made fortunes even as GM died.
The government gave it money to bail out some of its creditors;
but who ends up with the remains of the company,
can be a mix of diferent interested parties.
You want to to talk traitors ?
-That would be the congressmen who kept the US from requiring
fuel-efficient cars;
- the executives from requiring CEO's be paid in accordance with the success of their
product;
- and the babblers who kept trying to change the subject every time something of importance was discussed.

Don't you just love America. An ex-convict idiot has to right to say sexist things on radio and I have the right to give a dissenting view. On my TORN (Tired Of Republican Nitwits) meter this is a 10. Most ex-cons can't get a good gig like G Gordon. Do you think he had some RIGHT connections?

My Fellow Americans: I like a big gas burning vehicle, you can have the electric powered easter eggs. All we have to do is drill for more oil, we got plenty, just get rid of the E.P.A. and all our problems will be solved. I like Limbaugh, Ingraham, Sliwa,Liddy, Beck,Hannity, Tancredo, Gingrich, Carr, MacFee, Severin, Graham, North, O'Reilly, and others, because they are all very intelligent people and understand exactly what is going on. When they discuss a subject one is capable of learning the truth, which the drive by media keeps from telling us. We have to get the truth from radio talk show host because the media is being paid off by the Left Wing Liars. It does get quite old when the same simpletons write their comments here because they say the same old junk. They don't know any better because they never graduated from a credited school, High School or rather Elementary school. Their comments are always the same it is like they are constantly doing do-overs as they did growing up. So, to hear people like the above mentioned intellectuals explaining exactly how we (America) is being sent down the drain by Community Planners, and keeping us up to date on what the media will not report is extremely refreshing. Unlike the Liberals, Radicals, Moderates, from the Left they are generally very positive, humorous, and caring people. The Real American

Looks good for Fox!
So much for the liberal media myth!
As for Mr. Liddy, -
he is a traitor to his country; who tried to overthrow its democratic elections;
fortunately he is also a total idiot and got caught.
As a side issue, he is also a coward;
who uses the freedom of a liberal society,
to say evil things of good people.
One can see why you like him.
