      That's right beavith. There was no algebra before 1946 when Mesopotamia rose from the sea.

        algebra wasn't invented by one person in one place. it was a process over several hundred years.

        and not in iraq. it didn't exist

          while there is no historical reference to any one person developing algebra its origins are generally credited to be babylonian which, both geographically and culturally, is modern day iraq.

          this is fact, and no amount of petty quibbling can change that

          you may recall that many of the rare and ancient artifacts of babylon were housed in iraq's museums, that is, at least prior to 03. after which they were either destroyed, vandalized or stolen by us, or sold off to art dealers who were permitted privileged access to iraq while ngos and humanitarian organizations, such as the red cross, were denied
