Milano has written Safe at Home: Confessions of a Baseball Fanatic about her love of the sport and how it’ s helped her to bond with her family. When she was little, she used to see her dad watching the games on TV. Then, when the family moved from New York to the west coast for her acting job on Who’ s the Boss , Milano’ s father would watch the games at their new place. Although she was excited by her new job, she was also homesick and missing her mother and brother (still living back on the east coast), so hearing the games on TV reminded her of home and helped her to bond with her dad.
