WASHINGTON (AFP) -
The commander of Fort Campbell army base in Kentucky has ordered a three-day suspension of regular duties to focus on a spike in suicides among his troops amid concern over a wider trend across the armed services.

    How will the Army use this down time? Will they take steps to fix the root cause of the suicides, or go to their standard option of figuring out how to keep these suicide reports from the media and declaring the problem no longer exists?
