I will certainly hope that GM can make a comeback.

However, it somehow reminds me of when the gov't took over Amtrak and said that it would only be temporary until they return to being profitable.
Its been what 30 years now? They still control Amtrak, and (gasp!) it is still not profitable. This is more proof to me that gov't can't direct ***t through a goose.
