i zeroed in this sentence, too.

rther than just:

it should read: "the president made clear that history will judge us by whether this bill controls health care costs OR NOT"

its one thing to sit down and play poker for fun, but its not so much fun when you are dicking with the health care system, just because you can. especially if you have no idea what's going happen next.

this 'Dukes Of Hazzard' idea that you can just speed up and make the jump when we aren't sure how deep the hole is underneath us, seems might destructive.

i really like how gov't is going to determine how much doctors nurses et al are going to get paid. who determines what the market rates will be?

forget Baucus. he's just a bit player in this uprushing clusterfuuu...
