Airbus Warns of Speed Problems After Jet Crash »

In the first hint that malfunctioning airspeed indicators played an important role in the crash of an Air France jet bound for Paris earlier this week, Airbus on Thursday issued a warning to all its customers to follow established procedures when pilots suspect the devices are not properly functioning.

    I've played with my Garmin 60Csx and it seems to indicate an accurate ground speed when I compare it with the real time map.
    Measureing ground speed seems easy. Airspeed is probably a little more difficult, especially when it's raining on your pitot tube:)

      I wonder if we'll ever know what happened?

      I still don't trust Air Busses though.
