MINNESOTA VOTE FRAUD: 2,812 Dead Voters »
Posted By pc25 5 months, 2 weeks ago in NewsA review of Minnesota’s statewide database of registered voters revealed at least 2,812 deceased individuals voted in last November’s general election, according to a new report by the “traditional values” advocacy group Minnesota Majority.
Mark Ritchie is so concerned that all votes be counted, he’s gone out of his way to ensure even dead voters’ ballots were among those counted on behalf of Franken.

Today, Minnesota Majority announced the discovery of individuals who were deceased prior to November 4, 2008, yet have voter history records on the secretary of state’s files that indicate they voted in the 2008 General Election.
Minnesota Majority employed a data enhancement service to flag potentially deceased individuals on Minnesota’s voter registration file. Over 2,800 individuals who voted in the 2008 general election were flagged as being “deceased” prior to the election. Minnesota Majority then selected a sample of a dozen records for additional investigation. A representative drove to addresses listed on voter registration records. Interviews conducted with residents or neighbors confirmed that at least 5 individuals from the sample were deceased, the latest having died in March 2007.-

Interesting. So what they actually found were 5 dead voters and from that they estimate there were really about 2800 dead voters.

I don't think Missosota Majority's techniques would pass peer review unless they add the survey precision which would be about plus or minus 2800 -

The Bizarre Agenda of the “Minnesota Majority”
Reply
A Right Wing group was recently brought to my attention, the Minnesota Majority. They have an agenda just like the now defunct Moral Majority, as the name would suggest. It’s rich in idiocy, homophobia, xenophobia and irony. This is from their About Us page:
Are you tired of allowing a well-funded vocal minority:
[1] Dictating what we can say, do or think?
[2] Suppressing our freedoms of religion and speech?
[3] Having more rights than the rest of us?
[4] Telling us that they are offended by what we say or do?
[5] Preaching tolerance while demonstrating utter contempt for anyone with a different view than their own?
[6] Exploiting our legal system to advance their agendas at the expense of our rights?
[7] Destroying our nation’s traditional values?
Then do something about it by joining Minnesota Majority. We are a non-partisan issue advocacy group seeking to restore traditional values to Minnesota’s public policy.
I added the numbers so I could address the sins of the “well-funded vocal minority” in order.
1. Dictating what we can say, do or think?
Give me one example of this, anybody. The only examples I can think of are related to things like hate crimes. I doubt they are pro-hate crime. So WTF are they talking about? Laws? Are they against laws? Yes, we have laws that say you can’t ejaculate into someone’s milkshake. Do they have a problem with that?

Another ACORN Secretary of State in Minnesota will be running the Coleman-Franken recount
Last week, I wrote that the links between ACORN, Ohio Secretary of State Jennifer Brunner, and the group Secretary of State Project were concerning. I asked how many other Secretaries of State were backed by ACORN.
Well. There's a recount in Minnesota that will determine whether Norm Coleman keeps his seat. And another ACORN backed, Secretary of State Project-backed candidate will be doing the recount. Let's see what they say about Ritchie.-

Right Wing Group Accused Of Voter Intimidation ;-P
Reply
Who's making intimidating phone calls to voters in Minnesota? The answer might surprise you. Minnesota Secretary of State Mark Ritchie released an affidavit describing a phone call linked to Minnesota Majority a far right-wing issue advocacy group. The caller indicated that the voter in question was listed twice on the public voter rolls. The voter (who moved addresses but kept their telephone number) asked who the caller reported to. They indicated Jeff Davis, president of Minnesota Majority. Davis co-founded Minnesota Majority with Republican Mary Kiffmeyer - the former MN Secretary of State before Democrat Mark Ritchie.

Katherine Harris Plays Dumb ;-P
Reply
Defense contractor Mitchell J. Wade pled guilty yesterday to election law fraud, among other charges for making illegal campaign contributions, including $32,000 in illegal contribution to Rep. Katherine Harris (R-FL).
Katherine Harris claims she had no idea there was anything amiss when she received the contributions. In a statement she said the incident “demonstrates the perils of a process in which candidates are sometimes asked to determine the intent of a contributor.”
Her story isn’t very credible, for three reasons –
1. The illegal donations arrived on the same day. Had various employees of MZM independently decided to donate money to Harris there wouldn’t have been any problem. The donations were illegal because they were coordinated by Mitchell Wade, who reimbursed his employees. Seven MZM employees sent 28K in donation on the same day, March 23, 2004. (Mitchell’s wife, Christiane sent 4K a week later.) It’s theoretically possible that all seven employees just happened to independently send maximum contributions to the same candidate on the same day, but it doesn’t take a genius to realize they were coordinated.
2. MZM was Harris’ largest campaign contributor by far. Money from MZM employees and PAC was the top source of cash for Harris’ campaign by a more than 2-to-1 margin. This makes it virtually impossible that she wasn’t aware of the suspiciously timed transaction. Here’s a chart of her top contributors from Open Secrets:
3. Wade told Harris his intentions. He took Harris out to lunch and told her MZM wanted an earmark for a defense project. According to the Washington Post, Harris asked for it but wasn’t able to get it. Harris knew exactly what Wade expected in return for the cash and did what she could to get for him.
Perhaps Harris is completely innocent. The available evidence, however, doesn’t support that conclusion.

DOJ Rejects Discriminatory Voter List Procedure in Ga.; Raises Concerns for New Election Law
June 4, 2009, 3:05PM
A currently challenged provision of the Voting Rights Act requires several states with a history of discriminatory election practices to seek federal approval before changing election rules. Under this provision, the Department of Justice this week rejected a Georgia voter list maintenance procedure that it deemed both discriminatory and inaccurate, according to the Associated Press.
The decision will require Georgia to halt its controversial "citizenship check" procedure, whereby Social Security and driver's license numbers were used to check if voter applicants were citizens. Explaining the decision in a letter sent Monday to Georgia Attorney General Thurbert Baker, Loretta King, the acting assistant attorney general of the Justice Department's Civil Rights Division, said Georgia's procedure was "seriously flawed," and "frequently subjects a disproportionate number of African-American, Asian, and/or Hispanic voters to additional, and, more importantly, erroneous burdens on the right to register to vote."
Immigrant and voting rights groups lauded the Justice Department's objection to what U.S. Rep. John Lewis (D-Ga.) called "an attempt to take us back to another dark period in our history when people were denied access to the ballot box simply because of their race or nationality," according to the Atlanta Journal Constitution.
The Justice Department's decision "recognizes that the state of Georgia has attempted to disenfranchise not only Latino citizens, but Asian-American and African-American citizens as well," said Elise Shore, regional counsel for the Mexican-American Legal Defense and Educational Fund.
Despite the high error rate and potential disenfranchisement of thousands of eligible voters, Secretary of State Karen Handel (a vocal supporter of the newly enacted proof of citizenship law and a candidate for governor for 2010) cried partisan politics upon hearing the Justice Department's decision to halt the state's efforts to weed out alleged noncitizens, which she called "good public policy."

Again, living in Wisconsin, we've taken on the Chicago style of politics. My father, a life member of the GOP Presidential Circle, passed in 1986. Not only has he come back to life several times, he's become a Democrat. It's been reported and removed every time but it continues to reappear. Nothing new for a region controlled by the DNC.

Oh, BROTHER!!!! Another piece of CRAP!!!! You know why? Because all ACORN did was collect voter registration cards, they do not put the registratioons into the system ...that is the job of the state election officials. This story is all conjecture and it does not make the case that ACORN produced one fraudulent vote! Not ONE!

Again, in Wisconsin, they registered every card turned in by Acorn. Was it wrong, yes but the election commissions are controlled by the power in charge. Here in Wisconsin, it's the Dems who are controlling this and benefit from Acorn dirty tricks. Something else the left forgets to follow up on was the pay for play. For each card turned in by workers, they were paid $5 to $10 so some have admitted to filling out hundreds of fake names. That's perhaps why Dane County's 103% voter turn out. 5,000 more people showed up to vote that actually live in the district. Wonder how that happens?

That's a very common ploy by Acorn and other DNC supporting groups. Soros funds a lot of them too. I don't know how we let them gain the power. McCain-Finegold really screwed things up for the honest campaigns. It gave huge spending to groups with no real accountability and strangles the campaigns themselves. 527's, union front groups and the like can do and say almost anything. It's really too bad. After the Obama run and their sloppy books keeping, there's no way the GOP will ever agree to the public financing again. The next election will double or triple the spending we saw this last time. And yes, I do lay this at the feet of the DNC. -

If ACORN can be given responsibilities by the federal government then why not Catholic Charities? I would like to see a community contract the church to manage the local school system and observe the results after a few years. It might make sense to make a deal with the Salvation Army to distribute welfare benifits. Let's hire the state of Texas to manage the southern border. Let AARP run social security. Let AAA vote the government's shares in GM. Hire AA to run tobacco, alcohol and firearms.

Churches are not supposed to do any campaigning. I think it violates the church's free speech but ACLU and Freedom from religion have made it too costly to fight. If a church would attack Obama's stand on Abortion, they would very likely lose their tax exempt status. That would mean millions. Other tax exempt groups run the same risk. GO figure, form a 527 and you can do anything. Have a real tax exempt group or organization and you risk lawsuits and prosecution.

Lamar Alexander has a different idea for the shares of common stock the Feds will get from GM and Chrysler

Alexander proposes legislation to put GM, Chrysler stock in taxpayer hands
U.S. Senator Lamar Alexander (R-TN) introduced legislation Thursday that would put U.S. Government-owned General Motors and Chrysler stock into the hands of taxpayers, according to a news release from his legislative office.
Under the "Auto Stock for Every Taxpayer Act," the U.S. Treasury would be required to distribute all its stock to taxpayers within a year of the companies' emergence from bankruptcy.
“Instead of the Treasury owning 60 percent of shares in the new GM and 8 percent of Chrysler, you would own them, if you were one of about 120 million individuals who paid taxes on April 15,” Alexander explained. “This is the fastest way to get the stock out of the hands of Washington and back into the hands of the American people in the marketplace where it belongs. The stock certificates would be in your name, not that of your government.”

Don't be so quick to assume WHO is to 'blame' for dead voters still registered.
Reply
No one knows WHO the 'dead' voters voted FOR.
Just because there may be over 2800 dead people that may have voted in that election does NOT mean that they ALL voted for Franken.
Fraud comes in all sizes and on BOTH sides of the party lines.
Several years ago in my area, there arose an inquiry over a special election to fill a vacant state Senate seat. The vote results were VERY close - only about 30 votes separated the winner from the loser.
Investigation into the votes cast started turning up dead voters.
One candidate was white and the other was African American. As soon as the investigation hit the news, some people started assuming that the invalid votes were for the white candidate (racism, racism).
After all was revealed, it was fraud on the part of several African American poll workers who 'enabled' the invalid votes to be cast (and for the African American candidate). Enough invalid votes were found to invalidate the election, which then had to be re-scheduled.
The MORAL of my story is --
Be careful of premature judgments on your part as to the EXACT nature of the fraud.
You have already presumed that it is all a Democratic conspiracy. Don't be SO quick to blame the Democrats because you do NOT have ALL of the facts.
You have NO idea who committed the fraud until ALL of the data regarding those 'dead' votes is accounted for.-

I agree. That said, ACORN already has a history of fraud-- not just occasionally but structurally due to work rules that encourage fraud. They resist transparency. They are a secretive society that fires people who disagree with their leaders and they are as partisan as the IRA. I don't disagree with their right to be anything they want to be, but they shouldn't recieve government money.

ACORN has never engaged in fraud, its just gets people to register to vote. BY LAW, even registrations ACORN thinks maybe fraudulent have to be turned into the state. ACORN simply has to separate the suspect registrations from those withgout questions. It's the state's job to determine registration validity not ACORN's.

It's time for a national ID card to get computer systems accurate. They can be used to verify citizenship when voting, and medical bills when US or resident aliens or those with viable visas need medical assistance. The government already has our information with driver's licenses, with passports, with tax forms, etc. You can even google and get your address and telephone number and from there build your family tree. Its time for the national ID card to be checked by IRS, INS, and the State Department. Do it now - the times demand it.
