Maybe I am ill-informed but isn't there a theory that mad cow disease

came about (partly) because chicken guts were mixed in with the hay,
and sawdust and other "natural" food for cows? Filled them up and
was easy on the farmers' budget. It just seems so contrary to the
laws of Mother Nature. Hence - IMO - it will come back to bite us in
the butt!-

Hmm..., don't know about that but I do know that you can't feed an animal an unnatural diet and expect a healthy animal. I mean I am carnivorous being a "Bird of Prey" and if you try feeding me salads and veggies I will die....

It is very contrary to the laws of Mother Nature, especially when you put crap in you get crap back.
