This is truly unbelievable. You would think that SOMEBODY would have noticed the tickets BEFORE they started to smell the stench. I mean.... when the cops ticketed it a second time...maybe they should have thought to take a little peek inside? I wonder how long he was there?

aceofspades1.....I am guessing that in NYC there are special people to hand out the traffic tickets so as to free the regular force to fight crime? I am also guessing that most people have a disdain for the traffic enforcement agents?

This is proof positive you don't need to be smart to be a traffic

cop...the most basic HUMAN logic don't apply to these people...
they have a power thing about the tickets they issue - it's the
only world they know and they don't have any interest or TRAINING about anything else...
I'll be they'll still say 'it's not my job to look into a car
window to see if there's anything wrong' - I just issue tickets...call the NYPD to see if they can make some money off the dead guy...we makin our own money with the tickets.... -

A incident almost identical to this happened here in Gainesville, FL. After about 2 weeks the man was discovered by a homeowner who investigated because the car was partially blocking his driveway. The deceased also died of heart failure and had been reported missing by his daughter. Seems traffic cops are oblivious all over.
