Why the focus on Christians or so called Christians?>>>>

Come on. You can't believe that the organized church(s) don't have a huge influence on our culture, whether people are religious or not. Before the women's movement, it was fine and dandy for men to abuse their wives and kids. Call the police, and the husband/daddy didn't go to jail. Where do you suppose that thinking came from? Why it came from that old time religion!
And who spouts off all the insane nonsense about homosexuals, spreading the lies to all within ear shot? Why 'spiritual' leaders do. Like Rick Warren who reaches MILLIONS with his trash mouth, and who was actually honored by Obama. Or like Jerry Falwell did. Or like Pat Robertson. Or like the Mormon church. Hell they passed out pamphlets to kids for decades calling homosexuality "a serious sin. Next to the crime of murder comes the sin of sexual impurity." Or how about the disgusting creep the so called "reverend" moon, who owns a major newspaper in our country, and who was HONORED with a ridiculous ceremony by CONS who actually crowned him in our Senate building! He called homosexuals "dirty dung eating dogs."
How about pope benedict who called anything but but heterosexual relations a "destruction of gods work," and that "saving humanity from homosexuals is as important as saving the rainforest from destruction."
Come on. Surely you can see that so called "christianity" feeds homophobia as surely as the sun rises and sets.
