Stavros Flatley: Greek Irish Dancers - YouTube »
Posted By gamahuche 5 months, 2 weeks ago in HumorOne of the -deliberately - funniest performances I have ever seen. We watch it frequently when we need a burst of energy for an all-night work session.
Dimitrios and Lagi a father and son act perform on Britains Got Talent.
We heard that they had been disqualified based on an Irish protest that there coud be no such activity as "Greek Irish" dancing - but on checking thoroughly I find that they did finish 4th in the Final..
I listed it under "humour" because we have hysterics watching it..

May I suggest watching this a couple of times a week as an effective prophylactic against stress, worry, the probems of the world, the loss of James Marcus as our care-provider - whatever might ail you if you miss this hysterically funny performance!

Well that wasn't quite right!!
Shouldn't start posting so early in the morning and try to make sense - especially about these jokers!!
[Or maybe I was tearing up about James :(
NOT!!!!
He's taking care of himself by escaping from us loons..

Gama. What a hoot! Original and absolutely funny. A ray of sunshine as opposed to the assassination of Susan Boyle by the British Paparazzi Media.

I was thinking earlier this week of how the public might perceive watching a mugging of a blind man or some other "challenged" person who just happened to have a God given talent as a compensate for the whole person denied at birth.
Notice that the song by Boyle ends with the last line " ...but life has killed the dream, I dreamed". Has ever a more appropriate sentenced ever been uttered?
Thanks for the pick-me-up.-

The media does love to build people up and then smash them down again.

This particular competition and its format provides a convenient format for them to do so very quickly and easily.
Its almost gladiatorial in character .
The Flatley "boys" of course never seemed in danger of succumbing to anything - just out for a laugh and their 15 minutes of fame.
For poor Susan Boyle it was obviously a much bigger deal.
I only saw her first performance - reading the clips from the tabloids after that made me unwilling to get involved more deeply in the artificially induced drama.

Before starting the day, my wife and I viewed this most inspiring dance video. Nothing better than a good laugh to begin the day.

Thanks g!
(P.S. And you even got Wolfie's seal of approval ... or should we say his territorial marker.) -
