You can thank the Wall Street speculators for the price rise, there is NO shortage, inventories are up and crude is being parked offshore waiting for the price to get where they want it....
It is going up here too..Arizona..

I can't figure out why gas is so high, oil is less than 60$$ a barrell..They will force people to do exactly what they did before, and stop buying it again.. They think they are so slick, Americans are resilient!

This is artificial hike again. No much demand but prices going up.

It’s amazing that at the beginning of the summer driving season oil refineries close down for routine maintenance and the price of gas goes up. If I was a conspiracy theorist I’d swear that they do it on purpose.

Once again, witness a massive transfer of wealth into the pockets of few.

They must be loading up on cash before we get enough of it, and switch over our transportation to emerging alternate forms of energy.

They have controls on how much a stock can rise and or fall in a given time period. The very same constraints should be put of the cost of fuel, from a purely homeland security point of view. The economy could come crashing down to a shreeching halt because of this, and for certain it will delay recovery. If that isn't a true homeland security issue, I don't know what is.

Good for the stock market but terrible for consumers.

Aloowing the price to be set by speculation is a sure fire way to make the price rise when supplies are plentiful and demand is flat.

Apparently the oil companies are afraid they WON'T be able to claim record profits again at the end of June, so they are taking the necessary steps.

                        The Answer is simple.

The American People are being Squeezed by the Oil Barons.

It's deliberate manipulation for personal gain at the expense of the entire Country.

Anyone who says different is telling a Lie.

Personally, I think the needs of America outweigh the needs of a Wall Street Oil Jockey.
