A Western-backed coalition appeared to have retained its parliamentary majority in the face the Hezbollah-led opposition. The Pro-Western bloc won 70 out of the 128-seat parliament, giving it a narrow majority over Hezbollah, the opposition.

    Excellent, I really hope the people of Lebanon can establish a good government without Hezbollah interfering and assassinating their elected public officials.

      Lebanon will be better off without Western interference. Hezbollah is a part of Lebanon and they will always be there.

          Ain't there any other countries around there that can give them a little land? That way Israel can have what was given to them after the war. And since Israel was attacked and gained control of some land. heck I think they deserve having a place that is free from terrorist like hamas. A place to raise their kids and not have to worry about someone killing them. Why is it that Israel always has to be the one that apologizes and gives up land?
