You can control almost everything when you plan your beach wedding, except weather. Location, invitations, wedding dress, guests are can be planned but there is no way to be sure it is not going to rain on your beach wedding. Rain is a typical concern for any outdoor wedding, especially if it is a beach wedding. In addition to rain, wind or sun can be problems. Winds can get strong so anything that could blow away should be secured. Sun can also be strong so everybody should be made aware and dress appropriately.

To have a great beach wedding, a back-up plan should be available. If it rains, there needs to be another place to celebrate the wedding or flexibility to push the time back two or three hours to see if the rain will stop. This has to be planned carefully before so as not to be nervous on the great day.

Although you cannot control mother nature, you should avoid rainy or hurricane seasons. If your wedding is celebrated on a dry season, there are more possibilities to have your wedding without rain.

The Importance of a Wedding Planner
Even if you have a detailed backup plan, it is very important to have a wedding planner or coordinator. It is your wedding's day and you will be very nervous because of the marriage, so you don't need another stressful situation, to decide how and when to execute the backup plan.

You need to be calm and only think about looking great, and not being the responsible for looking at the sky, decide if the ceremony will be celebrated at the beach or in other location, or if you should wait a few hours.
