Schiele Museum Backcountry Farm »

Located in Gastonia, NC, the museum provides a number of outdoor programs during the summer. Recently, the 18th Century Backcountry Lifeways Studies Program organized "Inspired by Nature: Exploring 18th Century Motifs." The event drew numerous artisans and craftspeople, all dressed in period costume and portraying the crafts a typical family of the 1700s might be involved in.
