Mrs Mousavi said in an interview that she and her husband plan to start working on women's rights immediately. They want to give women the right to choose clothing, jobs, etc. I don't know if the majority of the religious segment is ready for this choice yet.

I talked with a Persian friend last night and he says Mousavi IS gaining in popularity but they just can't tell who will lead. Many have switched alliances from ahmadinejad to Mousavi. Reminds me of our own election last year - republicans becoming democrats at the election. The Persians have also adopted our 'yes we can' chant.

I have the highest of hopes for Iran. They want the same change we want.
