The poor, frightened sheep.

They just need a patriot American to burst into the faculty room
and give them a pep talk about being brave, and standing for your beliefs,
and not hiding behind lies.
Then they would all start teaching creationism,
and that global warming is not happening,
and the true history of the Iraq war and the WMD
and they would allow guns in class
and corporal punishment too,
- although obviously with those last 2 some kind of deal would have to be worked out.
And every neo-con on Propeller would get an honorary doctorate in Climatology .

Well, Kansas is a very liberal state;
Reply
and the Kansas School system is known for its liberal,
wishy washy feel-good policies.
It doesn't surprise me a bit that a bunch of
martini-sipping parents sitting in limos bought purchased on ethanol-subsidy checks, got angry at an honest
teacher who dared to tell the truth.
Whatever that is in Kansas. -

"David Cunningham, director of human resources for the school district, declined to discuss Latham's allegations in detail.

"All I can say is we have procedures in place to make decisions on employment," Cunningham told FOXNews.com. "All of our procedures were followed correctly.""
This is typical of any government job - personnel matters are typically exempted from state sunshine laws, and schools and other governmental employers do not comment.
So the headline is accurate - the teacher claims his politics got him fired, There is no evidence either supporting or contradicting his claim. If he sues and the records become public as part of that process maybe we will find out. -
