This is typical of any government job - personnel matters are typically exempted from state sunshine laws, and schools and other governmental employers do not comment.

So the headline is accurate - the teacher claims his politics got him fired, There is no evidence either supporting or contradicting his claim. If he sues and the records become public as part of that process maybe we will find out.
