The femnist movement gave women the freedom to get marry, work outside the home, work inside the home, raise children, manage domestic responsibilities and on an on. Sure women can now play and work like men, but men have no interest in working and playing like women. And what becomes of the 50 something woman who spent her life working inside and outside the home and now has a husband who discovers the magic youth pill Viagra. He's off huntng for 20 something women and the wife is left with a No fault divorce that will take advantage of all her past work to determine her earning potential, forget alimony. She will have to continue work like a man without equal pay. The feminist movement was great for single women who never married and lesbians who never wanted a man in their life. But it did nothing for women who married.

My grandmothers and all of my aunts would disagree with you wholeheartedly.
