It's baffling, they defy logic, they're incapable of learning from their mistakes! They're like the antagonists of Atlas Shrugged except that the shoe's on the other foot and the bad guys from that novel are the good guys and always have been.

Yes, unfortunately, I've had to peruse Rand, Scholarship reasons. I'll swallow my pride for 10,000-

Look. The guys a douchebag. Bottom line. And he in no way represents the GOP.
Reply
However, you guys are just as much deserving of the title douchebag for not being outraged when people from the left said even worse things about Condaleeza Rice and Colin Powell.-

I called Colin Powell a dupe.
Reply
I called Condaleeza Rice a murderous thug of a functionary.
I never heard any racist comments about either,
from the left. Kinda hard when you are running a black guy for Prez.
Could have happened, - provide some examples.
We all heard racist nonsense about Powell;
but it was from the right side of the aisle,
after he supported Obama.
Which, of course, you already knew.-

An amazing list;
from KKK grand dragon Hilary Clinton,
to the ever-voluable Spike Lee.
And Bill clinton's brother,
and a California state senator,
harry belafonte?,
and don't ask me who the last quoter was.
Some of the comments were racist.
What about it?
I never said leftists don't make racists statements.
Of course they do.
I said, as anyone can read ,
that I never heard the left call Rice or Powell racist names.
I heard plenty of it from the right after Powell disagreed
with the Republican gentility.
Were you confused,
- or trying to confuse?
If you are sincerely against the comment made in the article of this post, - why do you give us a list of dumb things dems said?
Isn't it obvious you aren't a bit against the clown whose
name you haven't even brought up?
Who the heck do you think you are fooling?
It might be you;
It ain't us.

'Hymies.' 'Hymietown.' -- Jesse Jackson's description of New York City while on the 1984 presidential campaign trail.
In a radio interview with KFMB-San Diego talk show host Ted Leitner, Belafonte likened Powell to a slave who curried the favor of his master. Belafonte added: "Colin Powell's committed to come into the house of the master. When Colin Powell dares to suggest something other than what the master wants to hear, he will be turned back out to pasture." He also claimed that Powell "serves to give the illusion that the Bush Cabinet is a diverse Cabinet."-

But your Hillary quote does not count;
she is also on record killing people,
running drugs and voting for McCain,
according to published books.
She denies it the liar but we can't convict without a tape.
Jesse Jackson is just embarrasing, - I agree completely.
I am not sure what Hymietown is but it sounds racist.
Harry Belafonte was the former governor of North Dacota,
and unstable at the time. I think he is a singer now. If he voted Democrat then that is one certified racist comment about Powell from a leftist singer or something.
Now back to the point.
There is no moral weight to your words.
You play this game, over and over.
You say something to the effect that
tsk, people should be kinder, or more honest,
- and then spend most of your words and time
explaining how the other side does it too, and more often.
It is worthless; a wolfie2007 snarl of happy hate
would be more honest. -

LOL just like you guys to take your own hate filled racist stuff and say I'm a racist for posting it........ I think you guys get off on calling others racists for pointing out the racism that is like a tumor growing in the ranks of your hypocritical leaders as you show absolutely no outrage for what your LEADERS said.

--tangy, I think you're delusional and, frankly, not very thoughtful. You don't ask yourself what it says about you that you don't understand or care why black people and other minorities avoid the GOP. They avoid the REPUBLICAN PARTY, tangy. Democrats don't have a problem attracting minorities to their party so for you to suggest that the racism is comparable between the parties is LUDICROUS and borderline insane.-

Or it's the fact that you choose to ignore the horrible things said about the two because they were said by the left.

And Don't yall play dumb either. You know damn good and well that they were called everything from "House N**ger" to "Uncle Tom" during the Bush administration.-

If anyone said that on Propeller,
Reply
I would have flamed them; so would most of us.
I can' claim it didn't happen;
but I sure can claim I wouldn't ignore it.
And we aren't playing dumb.
We are pointing out you are excusing a comment on
record in front of us, on the grounds that someone
somewhere with a leftist leaning said something sometime
just as bad.
The word 'dumb' does come to mind.-

I never said members here called them those names. It was persons in the democratic party and members of the liberla elite who made those comments. Try a google search if you like.
Reply
And the reason it is relevant is because people here are hypocrites.-

What of it?
It doesn't move anything in this thread.
You still have the basic fact of a conservative saying something evil to other conservatives,
- and your obligation to condemn it.
Not to dodge, waffle, or re-define,
- or tell us to go google something
about what someone else said sometime.
It is simple.
The man said something bad.
Now you say something like 'Bad man! bad!".
Naughty is good too of course.
