I think this is more of a grass roots type rebellion than a CIA sponsored uprising. They are responding to a more Democratic nation on their southern border and an American president more responsive to them. They're hungry for more freedom in their lives.

Obama says he supports ANY outcome the Iranians decide on. I think that's code for "I'll do nothing, even if they decide to go Taliban on us." Well, Obama won't interfere with Iran, yet, he wants to interfere with Israel. Kind of a double standard, if you ask me.

Actually the U.S. government is currently interfering in Iran's affairs -- recall the sanctions. Last I checked they were still going.

I don't think he's actually interfered with Israel's affairs so much as expressed a strong opinion. Oh, that's right, opinions by presidents are only protected if they agree with your own prejudices.
