A family member just came back from visiting his doctor. He had a biopsy done on an organ in his body which turned out to be a cancer. The doctor suggested a therapy. This was a very sensible, routine and conservative therapy. Did he do it?

    No one, not even your doctor, cares as much about your health as you do. (And certainly not the government.)

      The days of NOT questioning your doctor are over.

      A physician that only prescribes a treatment without discussing alternative options is not a good physician. The patient is the one who should be directing his/her treatment, based on factual information provided by his/her physicians and life experiences.

      Unfortunately, it takes time to be a good physician and educate patients rather than just prescribing. Time is something that most physicians have too little of.
