Posted By WikiMap 5 months, 3 weeks ago in NewsA family member just came back from visiting his doctor. He had a biopsy done on an organ in his body which turned out to be a cancer. The doctor suggested a therapy. This was a very sensible, routine and conservative therapy. Did he do it?

The days of NOT questioning your doctor are over.

A physician that only prescribes a treatment without discussing alternative options is not a good physician. The patient is the one who should be directing his/her treatment, based on factual information provided by his/her physicians and life experiences.
Unfortunately, it takes time to be a good physician and educate patients rather than just prescribing. Time is something that most physicians have too little of. -
