Hamas looking out for Carter? Was it an accidental 'find', or were they being proactive? And why would anyone want to hurt Jimmy Carter? I have a suspicion of who would, but of course it will be viewed as crazy. Dang, even after all the research I've done, it still seems so foreign to my life experience that I have to do a reality check now and again. But I still have to hazard my guess that the one group that doesn't want Carter involved in ME peace would be Zionists, and that includes Christian Zionists.

"But I still have to hazard my guess that the one group that doesn't want Carter involved in ME peace would be Zionists, and that includes Christian Zionists."

The problem with the above sentence is that Carter isn't interested in ME peace unless that peace includes exterminating the Jews. Hamas is an organization dedicated to that "ideal".

The Charter (you can find it yourself to confirm this) states, ""The Day of Judgement will not come about until Muslims fight the Jews (killing the Jews), when the Jew will hide behind stones and trees. The stones and trees will say O Muslims, O Abdulla, there is a Jew behind me, come and kill him."

Carter does not believe Hamas to be a terrorist organization and wants them taken off the list of terror organizations. I believe it's reasonable to conclude that Carter supports the goals of Hamas, including extermination of the Jews. I see nothing in his words or actions that would lead to any other conclusion.

I wonder if you agree with him.

I'm going to have to disagree with everything you said. Big surprise, lol.

              You're obviously blind.

              "Thanks."

              You're welcome.

No, it's not surprising at all. It's not even surprising that you "disagree" with FACTS like the content of the Hamas Charter...

Yeah, right, Genocidal Jimmy, that's what he's known for. Monitoring elections, building housing for the poor, and plotting to exterminate all Jews.

Only in the diseased mind of Cherev.

Hold on. Carter attended elections in nations like Zimbabwe, Cuba and Venezuela. He claimed all were honest and true. Of course he never did explain why areas where there was strong opposition had ballot boxes that magically caught fire. I'm sure there's a good reason....

As for his hate of Israel, it's perhaps the worst kept secret. It started about the same time he was looking for money for his library. That was about the same time he signed the UN's PLO protection act. I mean the Non-Uniformed combatant protection act. It was to protect terrorists from firing squads. Prior to this, terrorists were considered non-uniformed, military trained people. The key term was military trained. They were considered spies and no quarter was given. That was the difference between partisans or freedom fighters. Rarely did they go through intense training. When Carter signed that and many other stupid agreements, he created problems we face to this day.
