I would love the will of the Iranian people to prevail.I have no doubt that in the fullness of time this will happen.However the religious and political establishment,which is one and the same in Iran,seemed to have made their minds up,that for now anyway,they will not be removed.This means that "the reformers"are in a very dangerous position,the outcome could well be devastating.When repressive states decide they have won an election,whether they have in fact won it or not,they are not shy of committing any atrocity, they think will keep them in power.

The World would be all the better,for having a democratic Iran,that are prepared to have dialogue with "the West" and with Israel.It would be a giant stride in realizing a better World,it would be one step toward living in peace as "the family of man" -

I wished that there could be a peaceful revolution in Iran! I heard a young Iranian (23) on the radio this morning, and what he uttered made me think and left me deeply moved. He accused Germany and the western world in general not to have courage enough to speak clear words and give some concrete support to the opposition. He compared the situation with the Nazi-regime and said that this catastrophy could have been avoided, if some more people would have openly shown their disgust. He nearly was ashamed to stay in security as a German student, while in his country, young men and women of his age are risking their lives for more freedom and democracy. He stated that there wasn´t any unbloody revolution. Fortunately, he isn´t right here! Fortunately, the success of a revolutionary movement is not to mesure by the number of dead persons it caused!

The Iranian opposition has a lot of guts and passion against the thuggish theocracy. I'm a little surprised after all these years since the deposing of the shah. They apparently are fed up with being pushed around and would like to re-enter the modern age. I can only hope for an eventual overthrow of the religious dictators and their lackeys.

My Fellow Americans: If what is going on in this country, America, right now, then prepare yourselves for the same situation as Iran in the future. We are moving toward a subversive regime that will enslave us all if it is allowed to continue. Yes, I am going to get a lot of opposition for this statement but check with those Iranians who know first hand how they're whole civilization was converted to this all imposing way of life.

The signs are all around, scare the population with stories of doom and gloom, reduce the work force, make the people dependent on the government for their subsistence, eliminate it's governing structure, create a new order of law, slowly eliminate freedoms, allow the government to make decisions on every facet of your lives, control the Media, and keep the new found powers aware of everything deemed anti new government.
Look what is occurring today, the President and his Administration in complete control of our Finances, they control the banks, they now control the auto industry, they are working on health care to make decisions on who gets their health needs taken care of, reducing our defense systems, making deals with our enemies behind closed doors, overseeing the swine flu (H1N1, his name), building his alien army, allowing criminals to be set free, building his brown shirt, (Acorn), KGB, catering to terrorist, violating the laws of the land, firing people who are in opposition to his devious practices, ignoring the Constitution, and out right lying to the American people.
If you are not paying attention than no matter how much you may love his speeches, his children, his dog, his wife, his garden, or he himself. You along with every Citizen will be doomed to his all engulfing regime. The Real American-

The goal is to bring the third world countries up and the top countries down until they meet some where, and than there will be a central government... and the rest is history as they see fit
If Obama was Bush three, you would be happy with the program,
I'm not at all happy with the way things are, they are the same from two years ago...
