Stop bitchin,,,, if Nader hadn't pull the ego trip or if Big Al would have been trusted enough that his own State would have voted for him, he would have won, there would have never been a 9/11, Iraq or Afghan war, and we would be rolling in money. I blame the entire mess we are in on those two men for messing up the 2000 election and sending the world into utter chaos.

There is one thing I don't understand about this protest. If the Iranians used paper ballots, and I believe they did, why doesn't Mousavi demand a full recount. That would clearly show whether there was any vote rigging.

On the flip side, I don't understand why Khamenei doesn't offer a full recount. If they have nothing to hide, they could demonstrate it. OK, it would cost some money, but avoiding bloodshed would certainly be worth it. -

> Is it possible that there ISN'T U.S. meddling involved in all of this?

Yes, it is possible. One the other hand, it is pretty sure that sooner rather than later we'll be told that the US (and, possibly, Israel) somehow "arranged" the results of Iranian elections last week and that this is a good enough reason for Iranian or Iran-supported terrorists to mass murder civilians all over the world... just as we're being told that coup of 1953 that brought the Shah to power 56 years ago is a good enough reason to kill Israelis and Americans today.
