Overheard at a Senate hearing yesterday:

"Could you say 'senator' instead of 'ma'am?' It's just a thing. I worked so hard to get that title. I'd appreciate it."

--Sen. Barbara Boxer (D-CA) to Brigadier General Michael Walsh during Senate hearing Tuesday, when he the general repeatedly said, "Yes, ma'am," and "No, ma'am," when answering Boxer's questions at hearing she chaired on New Orleans' levee system. -Boxer is a consescending witch who isn't worthy to shine the good general's boots with her green tongue. The only hard work Boxer did to get to where she is, is by scewing the nation to line her own pockets with wealth.

    Dear Ma'am:

    You probably don't know this, but soldiers typically address females as "ma'am" out of respect - just like the general yesterday addressed your male colleagues as "sir" several times before you made your petulant little outburst. I hope that you're proud of the "point" that you made to someone willing to put his life on the line for you and your freedoms. The rest of the country is hanging its head in shame. Politicians like you forget that you serve the people, not are served by them.

    Thank God that you aren't my senator.
