I quit taking a colon cancer chance 30 years ago, when I stopped eating red meat. I know now that was a smart move, as I am a prime candidate for colon caner. My sister and my aunt, on my mothers side both are colon cancer survivors. Oh yeah, I did the scope thing last week, no problems and I am the big 60 this year

The bottom line for consumers is to watch what you eat and how it’s cooked. Avoid frying and if grilling, reduce the temperature and don’t char food. This time of year what with people cooking outside. We need to be extra carful. Thanks Doc.

I just had colonoscopy done and was told by the surgeon and my oncologist that there is nothing you can do to make colon cancer happen or to make polyps go away. They are the direct result of aging.

If it runs in your family, it's becasue of genetics. Not because you like your steak well done or raw.
