The animated short is a rollicking romp about an excellent little liar-child who tries to get out of trouble at home by telling his mother one his big make-believe whoppers. After being caught with his hand in the cookie jar, Eli tries to excuse his behavior with a tale of spaceships and gladiatorial combat with huge enemy alien-mutants in an intergalactic gladiator arena. He’s forced to fight against the aliens with only his nighttime “blankie” to use as a weapon. The amazing animation takes viewers on a humorous adventure, where the young boy’s imaginary fantasies end up becoming blurred with an unexpected reality.
