When foreign policy is well-reasoned, we see attention given to humanitarian issues like housing, jobs, health care and education. When that policy consists of applying a military solution to a political problem, however, we see death, destruction, and suffering. Director Robert Greenwald witnessed the latter during his recent trip to Afghanistan--the devastating consequences of U.S. airstrikes on thousands of innocent civilians.

The footage you are about to see is poignant, heart-wrenching, and often a direct result of U.S. foreign policy.
We must help the refugees whose lives have been shattered by U.S. foreign policy and military attacks. Support the Revolutionary Association of the Women of Afghanistan, an organization dedicated to helping women and children, human rights issues, and social justice. Then, become a Peacemaker. Receive up-to-the-minute information through our new mobile alert system whenever there are Afghan civilian casualties from this war, and take immediate action by calling Congress.

Actually, Deborah, it's an occupation, and as you can see, we, the invaders, are killing a lot of innocent civilians. For what? A demented game of "where's Waldo" with Osama Bin Laden playing the title role? Do you really think that guy is still alive and living in a cave in Afghanistan somewhere? How easy ARE you?

WE can be sympathetic and feel sorry for these people,or we can be realistic and say war is hell especially for those caught right smack in the middle,we have seen this before when the russians invaded and in vietnam,so how can we be logical and humane at the same time,we can pull out all our armed forces from around the world and just wait and see till one day nukes are landing on our front lawn and hell who did it,is there anyone left to protest or fire back ,do we have the right intel and dam now other countries are firing also and why because they don't know if we think they did it,and now its dooms day everyone with a suspicion is in the game. Thanks to the a-holes who all contributed in nuclear energy,Now dont you wish we had soldiers in the trenches who could very well say hey america wake up pakistan, iran korea, are planning to fire on you maybe we have time to avert such disaster.Okay i want to hear from all the genius out there who have the answer ,and welcome to the nuclear age !

Yes, it's easy to say as long as it is others who are caught in the middle.
"we can pull out all our armed forces from around the world and just wait and see till one day nukes are landing on our front lawn"
How do you think other countries manager to live without having their armed forces all around the world. The funny thing is that they are not nearly as scared as Americans are.
"welcome to the nuclear age !"
The nuclear age has been here for quite some time. What justifies the US to have nuclear weapons? That it was the first to have them? Why should any other country trust the US? After all it's the only country that has actually used nuclear bombs to commit mass murder of civilians.
