    When gas prices started going up in the 70s what did the Big 4 do? They hit Toyotas and Nissans with sledge hammers. Instead of making more fuel efficient cars they kept building larger and larger. The public got a huge wake up call last year with $5/gal. Even the Big 3's small cars had terrible emission ratings and low mpg....could that be because of greed or just my damn liberal mantra getting in the way of things again?

      Well good business is to supply what's in demand. Nothing stopped you from buying a Geo. (made by chevy/toyota)
