Colonel Donald Gilbert Cook was a true hero and patriot. While his death is tragic, one must wonder what his outrage would be, had he been alive today, in seeing the poser who calls himself president in the White House today. Those men and women who fight and sacrifice for their country are being insulted everyday by Obama and the (General Call Me Senator, I earnd That Title) the joker politicians who claim to be honering their oath to uphold the constitution.

"wonder what his outrage would be, had he been alive today, in seeing the poser who calls himself president in the White House today.".....What outrage?Unlike the Real "poser" that just left the oval office Obama won the election,he wasn't apponted..or did you forget ? I'll tell you exactly what he would have done..Like most of us VN vets he would have respected the office of the presidency and shown respect to a man that has supported veterans and the bills that help us unlike the "posers"..Bushboy and cheney" that didn't..Remember the "poser" bushboy tried to cut our troops pay as soon as we invaded Iraq...I am sure Mr. Cook wouldn't have agreed with that...

"Posers"...You should look closer at the real posers boy, bush(i can't remember where i served),cheney(five deferments because i have better things to do),limpballs (i have a pimple on my azz)....not to mention wolfowitz, rove, and the rest of the non serving war mongering bunch...
You should be very careful in trying to put words into an honorable mans mouth because i doubt seriously they would be the ones he would speak himself..Personally,as a VN vet it offends me to no end that people like you try to imagine what real vets think or feel..You aren't worth any further discussion.-

First, if you are a vet as you claim, like I am a vet, I thank you for your service.

To the civilian that you are now, as I am now, you ought to drink a little less. It definately shows in your grammar and punctuation. Lastly, it is very amusing how you Obama supporters are so bitter. Not to worry. Obama will be a single term poser. Then he'll be a minor footnote in history with a legacy of finishing the economic mayhem that Bush started.
