Suzuki Motor Company is one of the top automakers in world and one of the successful automakers in India . Maruti Suzuki India Ltd. is one of the top car makers of India . In 2000-2001, the company started its own motorcycle subsidiary, Suzuki Motorcycle India Private Limited (SMIL). In October 2008, Suzuki Motorcycle launched its first 150cc motor bike, the Suzuki GS 150R aka Lanza.
