Here's a look at Piccola Cucina, a new Italian restaurant in the West Village. With Philip Guardione in the kitchen, the tiny 22-seater serves up a variety of affordable Boot-fare from arancini rice fritters filled with eggplant, ragout and fish ($10) to a seafood risotto with cherry tomatoes, red mullet and orange ($17) to desserts like fresh fruit with rosé wine, cinnamon, mint and warm chocolate sauce ($6).
