so i guess that old expression 'get a job' is considered mean spirited too. she could have probably said it better.

maybe Olbermann can donate some of his unfair wealth to the starving kids of MO.
gopp... expanding health care for children? expanding what used to be a program for poor children is now socialized medical care for middle class children. i suppose thats just another step in socialized health care.
family leave act? i remember a time (wasn't that long ago) that people worked for a living, not worked for benefits. when my kids were born i had the day off, then i went back to work.
the republicans don't fight all 'solutions' to the 'health care crisis'. they just fight unaffordable ones.
no. they don't fight the middle class. the middle class is the ones that work. like the teabaggers say. don't spread the wealth. spread their work ethic.
college? the more grants allowed, the more college costs go up. there is zero feedback cost control mechanism on college -heck- education - expense. but that's OK for the democrats. their political buddies are the beneficiaries. at the expense of the whole country.
you confuse being an adult with moral vacancy.-

and i bet your kids are glad to have had only one day with you - dont you get it? whats the point? you work to do all this for your family, but yet you have no time with your family. all this work ethic BS doesnt matter in the overall picture, its your family (and my family, hell even wolfie's) that matters - you have been brainwashed into busting your ass for someone, only to miss out on your family - take away the houses, the money, the government, the work, and what do you have? YOUR FAMILY

but lets stay on point. when my kids were born, i was there at the delivery, i was there to help my wife through her day, then i went back to making a living for the three of us. the four of us, then the six of us.
i didn't take 6 weeks.
here in my town, a math teacher took 6 weeks to 'bond' with his adopted chinese daughter. i say that's great, but the kids in his algebra 2 class were subjected to rotating substitute teachers that left them weeks behind the other kids taking algebra 2
clearly, this was a failure of the administration to cover for this guy, but his taking off six weeks is also a problem. whether you care to agree or not.
al i can think of is that look on Hary Callahan's face in Dirty Harry, when he's told that he has to take 'sensitivity training.'
i'm making that look at you right now.
