Years ago, I read about a study where different types of music were played to plants, and it was amazing how they were said to respond. By respond I mean the way they grew and thrived. It was so similar to the studies about the ways babies respond to the different types of music.

One theory has it that people who are more attentive to their plants spend more time around them and hence breathe more carbon dioxide on them, helping them to thrive.

Of course I don't know if I actually believe that. Once when I worked at a restaurant, my manager came in and found me watering the plants. She said, "I didn't know you were a plant person."
I replied, "I'm not, I just can't stand to listen to them whine."
We both had a good laugh. -
